Check out some of my work below:
After a quick visit and a discussion regarding colours and finishes, the customer decided to go for Travertine in a custom colour, for his media wall he had built. After the job was finished you could see the joy in customer's face. Later on that evening, I got a phone call from the customer, to say that he was very happy with the end result. What can I say, I tried
What a pleasure it was, dealing with the customer. From the initial visit discussing the finishes and colours, we settled in Travertine customised in a pink colour to complement the new floor tiles. The results speak for themselves.
What a pleasure it was, dealing with the customer. From the initial visit discussing the finishes and colours, we settled in Carrara Medio with a pitted finish and on a customised blue colour. The results speak for themselves and most importantly, a very happy customer too.
Media wall in Corby, has been “"treated” to a new look in Black Vesuvio textured with sea sponge roll and White Vesuvio worked in with a frattone tool, giving it an Alpine look. Vesuvio is a mixture of ground marble and aged lime. Black and White as per instruction, to match the theme of the room.
Feature wall in Irthlingborough, carried out in Pitted Stone finish using Coarse Carrara. Natural Carrara ground marble mixed with aged lime. Slightly lighter than the natural colour as per instruction. Some glitter has been added for the desired effect before finished in clear wax.
The old and yellow(ish) marble surround was making this fireplace looking tired and the customer was looking for something different. So after a few visits of applying primer, base coats, 3 top coats and two coats of wax, the results speak for themselves. Classic fine marmorino (natural material) custom tinted.
Happy customer too
This wet room has gone through a thorough transformation. The walls have been stripped back, altered, boarded, skimmed and tanked. All topped up with Microcement Continuo, which has been custom tinted. Seamless surfaces with no grout lines.
What a difference from the old tiles and vinyl floor to a modern look with clean lines.
The customer was in the process of refurbishing the house when I got a call to apply some Venetian plaster. After discussing the requirements, they decided to go for the Travertine in its natural colour. And the results were awesome. The photos don’t do it justice. Some of the walls were primed with a product from a local merchant which, was way too rough. Even the customer was amazed when they saw the difference from the one I had used, gritty to provide a key but more uniform and white too. All finished with two coats of Cera wax and polished with a wool bonnet.
Another project taken on, this time Tadelakt “meets” Marmorino which have been closely matched in the colours the customer had advised. This is a two tone “rustic” look, and even though it may not be to everybody’s taste, it does look great.
Then again, why would you want to join the crowd.
Here is another bathroom makeover in Microcement. Seamless surfaces and above all, waterproof. Simply beautiful. The customer had chosen the colour, from the sample board (colour chart is available too). Some long days here but the results are amazing.
